We use up to date tables provided by the BCIS service of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and our surveyors have experience carrying these out on a wide range of properties, from individual flats and houses, to blocks of flats, estates, and more specialist buildings.

Fairclough & Dyer can carry out a snagging inspection once the construction is complete – and prior to you taking ownership – which outlines any defects visible in a format that you can give to the developer/contractor to make sure defects are rectified before you move in. This can be for something as minor as smudges on painted walls, or items such as windows that do not operate correctly, or even possible defects to the structure. This helps give you peace of mind that your new build property is to the best standard.
